Before your appointment

Cerise Guarantee

We guarantee our Classic sets to last a minimum of 2 weeks, and 2D/Volume sets to last a minimum of 3 weeks in under normal circumstances.

Or else we will replace them for FREE!

Please read through our terms and conditions below to better prepare yourself for your lash appointment.

Our guarantee will be voided if the instructions are not followed.

Before your appointment

  • Please DO NOT wear eye makeup - especially mascara, as we want to spend more time applying lashes and less time removing your makeup. Please arrive early if you need to remove your eye makeup. Eye makeup removal by Cerise Artists costs $20 for every 15 minutes, with a minimum charge of $20.

  • It is recommended that you do not drink coffee or energy drinks for at least 2 hours prior to your appointment as caffine can cause your eyes to flutter involuntarily.

  • You may wish to wash your hair the night before your appointment as it is recommended to keep your lashes away from water for up to 48 hours afterwards to allow the lashes to cure.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment, take some time to relax and fill in your consultation form.

  • There will be no refunds once the lashes are applied.

  • If the lashes fall out excessively within the first week, please contact us ASAP and we will book you in for a FREE replace within the next 7 days. However this will be voided if aftercare instructions were not followed.

Longevity varies between individuals, and some of the possible determinants are:

  • Your chosen SET - Generally, the fuller the set, the longer your lashes will last. The guidelines are approximately 2 to 4+ weeks for Classics, 3 to 5+ weeks for 2D Signature, and 4 to 6+ weeks for Volume.

  • Your natural LASHES - The more porous your lashes, the better 'grab' they have to the glue/extensions; and hence, better longevity. Healthy lashes in great shape and texture can also increase longevity vs damaged and weak natural lashes.

  • Your AFTERCARE - Your sleeping pattern (sleeping on your face vs sleeping on your back), active lifestyle, your job (sitting in air conditioned office vs cooking in a hot kitchen), how gentle you are with your lashes, and most importantly, how often you WASH your lashes, all affects lash longevity! Regular washing helps to remove dirt, oil and makeup sitting on your extensions, thus prolonging how long they last. See our aftercare here.

  • The WEATHER - Lash glue cures in the presence of hydrogen (which is found in H2O) so the rain/level of humidity can really affect the 'glue grab' during your application!! Other weather variables such as air flow and denseness of air in the room also play a big part in how well your extensions bond and cured at the time of your appointment.

  • The SEASON - In summer, due to the heat and the fact we are generally more active, lashes don't usually last as well. The beginning of Spring and Autumn are times when our natural lashes shed the most (think how animals change their fur) and are also common allergy seasons due to pollen and hay fever etc; which can irritate your eyes, thus reducing longevity. Winter is free of the above factors, so it's the best time to get lashes done if you want the best value for money!

Bridal Lashes

Over the past ten years, many brides have enjoyed wearing Cerise Lashes on their wedding day not only to look picture perfect in photos and in real life, but to prevent mascara running or makeup smudging during the teary moments. As a bonus, they still looked gorgeous without any hassle during their honeymoon!

As we do want your lashes to look as fresh as possible for your big day, we recommend one of these two options:

  1. Book in for a Full set 1 - 3 days prior to your wedding day.

  2. Book in for a Full set 2 weeks prior, then an Infill 1 - 3 days prior to your wedding day - this would suit those who have sensitive eyes, or wish to have their makeup trial with their lashes on.

  • We recommend Cerise Volume Lashes to compliment bridal makeup

  • No facials or sunbeds after your lashes had been applied

  • It is recommended to get spray tan after your lash application, light spraying on your face is OK.
